Shelly Alison is a Toronto-based Canadian writer whose work explores love, uncertainty, reinvention, and the courage to trust yourself through experience.She is the author of The Magic of Not Knowing: Essays on Love, Loss, and the Art of Becoming and publishes Laws I Live By, Reflections on the Road, and other personal essays on Substack.Currently travelling through Asia and Oceania, she is working on her next book and writing about movement, becoming, and building a life that feels aligned.When she’s not writing, she’s usually wandering a new neighbourhood, searching for good food, sitting somewhere near the sea, or trying a hobby she may or may not keep.
